ALTAIR SHOULDER ARMOR

The Altair shoulder armor was one of the last pieces I worked on to complete the Altair costume for our desert photo shoot in the spring of 2018. It ended up being composed of a detailed and stitched upper leather pieces, with a lower piece with slits in it to attach to the shoulder belt and buckle system that holds the Knife of Altair on the back. While I personally would like to improve this piece and investigate the process of making “padded armor,” it certainly looks the part and pulled the costume together. I then quickly made a knife holster for five throwing knives to attach to this armor piece, making it look even closer to the in game armor.
